The third album from Benny Bassett is perhaps his most personal. From first lyric to last note, Benny wrote, performed, engineered and produced this work. As he says: “I have always prided myself on creating albums that have cohesive messaging and vision, but distinct sonic variety, and for the first time, I can honestly say that every note and lyric are 100% mine.” This EP features the lead single “Same Mistake” and the song which also produced the first music video “Can’t We Just”.

No Going Back was the last album released by Benny’s band Vintage Blue, based out of Chicago, Illinois. Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Jamie Candiloro, this EP was the culmination of years of writing and honing performances on stages across the Midwest and Chicago. Benny sings on the title track “No Going Back” and you can dance along to the original version of “Alone (I Can Hear)”.
